Welcome to Vivid Blooms, a bold interpretation of floral displays that have inspired me. These acrylic paintings are a series of nine differing-sized canvases, in which I have reduced the intricate flower shapes to a simple, dark-outlined form. The almost-caricatures still hold the graceful lines, attractive colours and delicate shapes I have perceived. I hope you enjoy the simplicity and ‘highlights’ of each bouquet.
