Please introduce yourself to my Treescapes 2024. They join my Semi-abstract Treescapes - a joy to create and a technique that appeals to my sense of fun. I love orchestrating the layout and watching the freedom of the ink as it disperses and fills the gaps I create, as well as water, at its own pace, spread, and intensity. They are presently unframed. My ‘New in ‘24’ floral project, Vivid Blooms, is a bold (and, for me, brave) interpretation of floral displays that inspire me. These acrylic paintings are a series of nine differing-sized canvases, in which I have reduced the intricate flower shapes to a simple, dark-outlined form. The almost-caricatures still hold the graceful lines, attractive colours and delicate shapes I have perceived. I hope you enjoy the simplicity and ‘highlights’ of each bouquet.

The pictures work together to create quite an exciting display - I enjoy working with different sized canvases to compose an interesting collection.
